Ingredients:
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of ground beef, a layer of marinara sauce, and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers, ending with the remaining noodles, marinara sauce, and topping with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
